I am still uncertain on several components of logic. I followed the the given CSCOPE curriculum very closely. If you have any references that could provide a better understanding, please share! I am always looking to expand and better my understanding.
Pg 17. True False Logic
I do like covering this in the first unit because of the finality it provides later. Students will later attempt to prove a statement valid even though it may not be true for all cases. All I do is refer them to this page and give them a second to reflect.

This was a great statement for the kids to follow.
